Emergency Lockout Service
Vehicle Lockout Service Edmonton | Locked Keys in Your Car? We Get You In
You stepped out of your car for gas. The door slammed. Your keys are on the seat. The doors are locked. Your phone is inside. You're standing in a parking lot in -20°C.
Don't panic. Call 3K Emergency Roadside Service. We'll unlock your car safely—without damage.
Why Non-Damaging Entry Matters
You might think window breaking is the fastest option. It's not. You get glass everywhere. You have to replace a window ($300+). You've got an open vehicle in cold weather.
We use professional lock-opening tools. We work around seals and mechanisms. No force. No damage. Your car looks and works exactly as before.
How We Unlock Your Vehicle
Wedge & Reach
We carefully insert a thin wedge between the door frame and weather stripping. This creates space without pressure. Then we use a long reach tool to manipulate the lock button or handle.
Bypass the Alarm
Modern cars have alarm systems. We know how to open without triggering them—or we manage the alarm if it goes off. No problems.
Time: 15–30 Minutes
Most lockouts are resolved in under 30 minutes. Older cars are easier. Newer cars with complex locks may take longer. We'll update you on progress.
We Handle All Vehicle Types
Cars: Sedans, coupes, hatchbacks. Standard locks.
Trucks: Pickups, work trucks. Same process.
SUVs: Full-size and compact. Often easier due to door design.
Pricing
Vehicle lockout service costs $50–$100. Surcharges apply if it's after hours or a holiday.
After-hours (8pm–6am): +$25–$50
Weekend/holiday: +$50–$100
Why You Call 3K, Not a Locksmith
Car locksmiths know doors. We know cars and roadside logistics. We're equipped for outdoor conditions. We work year-round in Alberta weather. We understand modern car alarm systems and electrical locks. We know the difference between a car lock and a house lock.
Child or Pet Locked Inside?
This becomes an emergency. If a child or pet is in the car, tell our dispatcher immediately. We prioritize these calls. We'll get to you as fast as possible.
Keys Locked in the Trunk?
Trickier. Some cars have trunk release levers inside. Some don't. We assess and advise. If it's not accessible from inside, you may need a locksmith or dealer. We can tow you to a dealership if needed.
